For anyone with missing teeth the best options would typically be to have dental implants and to have a set of fixed teeth placed. Unfortunately it is not always possible to place dental implants and in these situations we need to seriously consider the other options for replacing missing teeth. One option is to have a set of removeable teeth made which are normally known as a denture or a plate. This may sound unappealing to many people but in reality a denture can be a good option for many people.
A cosmetic denture can give a very natural appearance. One type of cosmetic denture that we can provide at Complete Dental Care is called a valplast flexible denture. This has the advantages of being extremely light weight whilst still being strong. Also as it is made from a flexible material we can place gum couloured clasps so that it will hold into your mouth tightly whilst still being discrete. Another good thing about valplast dentures is that it is possible to make then a very small size; as they have clasps they only really need to be slightly larger than the size of the teeth that are being replaced. This makes them more comfortable to wear than normal dentures.
