Since we opened the practice we have been using digital x-ray equipment. You may be asking what this is? and why is it a benefit? Dentists will normally take an x-ray of your teeth to check the health of your fillings, teeth and bone. If any of you are old enough then you may remember being taken to another room to have your x-ray taken and then waiting 10 minutes while it was developed much like old style photos were. The same way that digital cameras can produce instant images so too can digital x-ray sensors. A few seconds after taking the x-ray the image will appear on our computer screen so that we can look at it together and see if there are any problems.
