Medical emergencies, such as a heart attack, could happen at any time.  Whilst we hope that this would never happen when you visit us we need to make sure that we are prepared for any possible emergency.  We stock a range of emergency drugs, an oxygen cylinder and also a defibrillation machine so that we are prepared to deal with most medical emergencies.  All the staff at the practice regularly refresh our skills in dealing with emergencies and annually we arrange for professional training in basic life support.
