The only other fixed option for replacing missing teeth is to have a dental bridge. For a long lasting bridge it is normal to attach it to the two adjacent teeth and so it has 3 parts (the missing tooth and 2 connectors). The fee for a cosmetic bridge is £495 per part and so would cost £1485 in total to replace a single tooth.
Dental implants are the best way to restore missing teeth. They are fixed in your mouth and do not involve any cutting or damage ot the adjacent teeth. If a dental implant is looked after well then it should last as long as any natural tooth (which should be lifelong with good care). The crown on top of the implant will last as long as any other crown in your mouth which is typically 10 to 15 years. When you take these factors into consideration then the Dental Implant Cost will make much more sense and you will be able to see that due to how long they last it is actually cost effective having dental implants placed.
But it is not only the cost that you should be concerned about; dental implants will normally give you the best appearance and as they are fixed in your mouth they will give you confidence with eating and talking and this is something that you cannot put a value on.
