Meet Our Implantologist

Omar Iqbal

BDS, MSC Dental Implantology

Omar has a keen interest in dental implants and treating anxious patients. He is also very experienced in providing dental sedation which can allow even the most phobic patients to undergo treatment.

Omar’s dental implant training started in 2011 at the University of Sheffield. Following on from this, Omar joined the International Team for Implantology which aims to promote continuing development and increasing knowledge in the field of dental implants. He has also completed advanced implant placement courses, focusing on full arch dental implant treatment in South Africa at the renowned Branemark Institute, in Portugal in the Malo Clinic, and in Brazil with the Implant Brazil team. In 2018, Omar completed a three-year Masters’ degree in dental implants at the University of Bristol. Following on from this he has been involved with dental implant teaching and mentoring with UCLAN and the University of Bristol.
