Coronavirus and what it means for you as a patient
Life today is very different to how we all know it. While we all make life adjustments during lockdown such as social distancing and working from home to protect our families and our NHS, we can only try to remain positive through exercise, Zoom quizzes and baking. You can see some of our efforts in the gallery below (who knew banana bread was the nations favourite thing to bake?!).
Before lockdown, we took extra measures to keep all of you safe such as reducing the amount of people in our practice at one time, practising even higher standards of infection control than usual and limiting contact within the practice. This may continue when we all return and more ways to keep us all safe will be reviewed and potentially be put in place.
We know how upsetting it must have been for your appointments to be cancelled but we would like to reassure you that, as soon as we can reopen, we will be in touch with you all to get they important appointments back in place. In the meantime, we have put some self help advice on our social media platforms to help you look after your teeth at home. You can visit our Facebook and Instagram simply by clicking on them or by searching for ‘cdcglasgow’.
What is going to happen in the future?
We have been working hard for the last 6 weeks to try and plan ahead, and thinking about what coronavirus means for dentistry and our practice.
There have been so many of you enquiring about what other services we can offer to improve your smiles, and we think it is fantastic that you are still thinking about this as we would love to help! We offer full smile makeovers, orthodontics, dental implants, private dentures and so much more! Unfortunately we don’t yet know when we will be able to reopen, but we can now tell you all that video consultations are in place with our fabulous Treatment Coordinators who can discuss treatment options with you. During this time it would be nice to see another face and talk about what we love doing most… providing you with your dream smiles!
Continue to stay in touch, stay positive and most important of all, STAY SAFE!
We hope to see you all soon,
The Complete Dental Care Team
