Over the summer period there have naturally been staff holidays and so unfortunately this blog has been neglected. The summer holidays are officially coming to an end with Glasgow schools opening within the next few days we will be resuming our regular blog postings.

You should to bring your children for dental exams with us twice per year. It is important to have these regular check ups as a child’s mouth can change very quickly with baby teeth falling out and the new adult teeth taking their place. At your child’s appointment with us we will check all of their teeth to make sure there is no decay present. We can usually spot decay early on making it easier to treat. Ideally we want to try and prevent decay from starting at all and so with regular checks we can give tips regarding brushing, diet and also we can apply preventive measures in the mouth as well such as fissure sealants for the molar teeth and fluoride varnish for the baby teeth.
